Helping students prepare and plan for life after high school is a major component of what we do as counselors at BHS. We not only want our students to have a successful high school experience, but we hope to help them plan for future success in college, in their career, and ultimately, in life.
In the Counseling Center, we coordinate and conduct both group and individual meetings called "Plan for College & Career Readiness" or "Plan CCR". It is our goal to meet with every student at least once per year. We highly encourage parents to attend their student's assigned CCR meeting.
College & Career Readiness Parent Toolkit
The toolkit provides resources and tools to help parents and students navigate and plan from kindergarten through high school to be college and career ready. Click HERE to learn more!
Students work with their counselor, during their CCR meeting to create an individualized 4-Year Plan in Skyward. Students can access the plan in Skyward by following the instructions outlined in this video.
