NEW STUDENTS TO BRIGHTON 

Step 1

Check to see if you live within BHS's boundary by checking your address on Canyons School District's boundary map. The map is found on the District's website at www.canyonsdistrict.org under the header Schools or Click here.

If your place of residence is not in Brighton High Schools boundaries, a Standard Open Enrollment Application/School Choice permit may be submitted at any time during the school year. The permit application is located at
permits.canyonsdistrict.org or Click here. Permits are not limited by space during the open enrollment period. For more information on the permit process, please click here.

Step 2

Fill out the New Student Registration Forms click here and bring the completed forms with you to register

Step 3

 Gather the necessary documentation. Documents include: Student's birth certificate, Immunization Records, New Student Registration form, and prior school transcripts. Make sure that your student has been withdrawn from their previous school. During the school year, we MUST receive a withdrawal form from your previous school.

Step 4

Call for an appointment with your Counselor at (801) 826-5820.

Step 5

Bring all completed enrollment forms and required documentation to your student's school. The registration appointment will be approximately 90 minutes. You and your student will complete the on-line registration process at this time. School fees will be collected at this time.
